Saying Goodbye

Better late than never, here's the pictures from the night we said goodbye to Carlos and his family. There were lots of tears (especially from the girls, who were very attatched to the kids) and promises to keep in touch!

Baby Poogi with one of the Carlos's cousins... she and her sister (Marvin's daughters) stayed with them and helped out a lot with the kids.

The mom of the girl above.

Guys on suitcase duty... (Marvin, his son, and Esa)

The whole crew, minus photographer Carlos.

Photographer Carlos. :)

Marvin, Gerson, and Carlos

Making their way to the entrance... it's starting to feel more real now.

Esa's family (minus Jacob, plus Carlos)

Blanca kissing a sleeping Franchesca.

She woke up!

Franchesca really liked Alex, in spite of or because of all his teasing, I don't know which!

Poogi and Mommy

We waited outside until they had checked in and watched them until we couldn't see them anymore.

  1. Aw. This made me a little sad because I do believe we've said some very tearful goodbyes on that terminal as well. Seems like Esa's always on suitcase duty isn't he?
Oh and due to Poogi's size, I really doubt he qualified for the two and under fly free deal; they have to maintain the weight limit after all. :)
Good photos Kate. I'm not sure why, but these made me miss you more than any other blog and you're not even in any of these. Hm...

  2. I think it's the airport, Amy. I love the lights in these pictures! Thank you for not using flash!
