El Mirador

On the way home from Quiche we stopped outside Guatemala City for supper. It's an open air, very casual restaurant with an overview of the city lights. By very casual I mean if you want your food, you better assert yourself. Also, no one really keeps track of how much you order. They wait until the end and then try and remember everything. They believe in the honor system! I ate tacos, arroz con leche (sweet rice with milk drink), and rellenitos (sugar dusted doughnut type dessert made from bananas, beans, and chocolate... you wouldn't guess the combination would be a pleasing one, but it is!).
