These are Esa's cousins. Ashley (left) and Moises (right) are his first cousins, while Jackie is a more distant relation.
The entrance to Xicovish, a beautiful pool close to Esau's grandma and grandpa's house.
The water is naturally hot as a result of one of the volcanoes in the area. I don't know exactly how it works, but I do know that the closer you get to the volcano, the hotter the water gets! The water in this pool was only lukewarm.

The girls stuck pretty close to me whenever they could... Ashley very sweetly told me that she already felt like I was her real cousin. :)

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, how wonderfully, blissfully tropical!! I have been cold all day, and our only view is piles of snow. That hot water looks so inviting, and how interesting that it's somehow related to volcanic action. You and Esau are so cute, and I really like the pictures of Marco Tulio with the little girls and of Steven drying his money! Mom
