The Visa Process

We finally purchased the PIN you need to call the U.S. Embassy and make a Visa appointment. Esa called and scheduled, and the date they gave him happened to be April 27th, my birthday! I could potentially get a really, really good birthday gift. I imagine I will be able to read the answer on his face the moment he walks out the embassy door. I hope he's smiling...

  4. I assume that means for a visit, not a permanent move to America. It seems strange to "purchase" the PIN just for permission to ask. Hope it wasn't too expensive. (Maybe I'm not understanding the process...) Anyway, it is ironic that the appointment is on your birthday.

Wyoming news: We are having an old fashioned blizzard. It's exciting but I hope we don't have any baby calves born. The one born today is snuggled in the barn with mama. The barn isn't big enough to fit all the expectant mothers, which is unfortunate on a night like tonight.
